Low Carbon Buildings Programme
The DTI's Low Carbon Buildings Programme is a UK wide programme, with grants totalling £10.5 million available to householders and community organisations for microgeneration technology. A further £18 million will be made available to public, not for profit and private sector organisations for medium and large scale microgeneration projects.

The Highlands & Islands Community Energy Company
HICEC provides free advice, grant funding and finance for renewable energy projects developed by community groups to benefit their community. Scottish Community & Householders Renewables Initiative
SCHRI is a one-stop shop offering grants, advice and project support to assist the development of new community and household renewable schemes in Scotland. There is a network of 12 development offices across Scotland.
