Planning Consultation on Permitted Development Rights for Microgeneration Equipment on Non-Domestic Properties

Friday 16 July 2010

Scottish Government Planning News: Permitted Development Rights for Microgeneration Equipment on Non-Domestic Properties consultation invites views on what the thresholds might be for microgeneration equipment on non-domestic properties.

This is the latest stage in fulfilling the requirements of the Climate Change (Scotland) Act 2009. Introducing the proposals would remove the need for a planning application to be submitted for the equipment falling within the thresholds.

To read more about the Consultation please see the Scottish Government webpage

Written responses to the consultation paper are sought by October 8, 2010. Unfortunately late responses cannot be accepted and you are encouraged to respond as early as possible. Please contact: nondomesticpdr@scotland.gsi.gov.uk or 0131 244 7546 for further details or to discuss the proposals.
