Foundation Scotland

Foundation Scotland is an excellent resource for sources of funding that are available to support commuity based projects. There are various schemes available, some of which are summarised below.

Community benefit fund: funds from wind farm developments from across Scotland providing grants to support activities that enhance quality of life for local residents and contribute to successful and sustainable communities.

Start & Grow: offers investment packages of between £10,000 and £60,000 to enable social enterprises and community organisations to start up, develop and expand. All Start & Grow investments are made up of one third grant and two thirds loan.

Making Enterprise Happen: will make investments of between £60,000 and £500,000. Each will be in the form of a mixed grant and loan package, with a minimum of 50% to be repaid with negotiable terms.
