The Ecobuild conference focuses on emerging
issues, new thinking, challenging ideas, and the new policy
priorities of the coalition government responding to the need for
budget cuts.
Continuing the three stream format for 2012, Ecobuild engages in
big picture debates on international political co-operation,
the role of science and technology, and the psychology of
climate change, through to more tangible issues such as how the UK
construction sector needs to change the role of architects,
refurbishing the existing stock, building more houses, the impact
of the Energy and Localism Acts, and the implications of the
proposed NPPF.
