The Green Deal, the government's ambitious strategy to
revolutionise the energy efficiency of the nation's homes and
businesses, is now reaching a critical phase. The policy landscape
is fundamentally changing with the Energy Act 2011, now law, and a
recent consultation into Green Deal and ECO policies that will be
included in secondary legislation.
With the launch of the Green Deal in October this year, what
steps are being taken to ensure that implementation is successful
and what impact will secondary legislation have on
stakeholders.
Delegates will be drawn from a wide range of energy
stakeholders, including: energy firms, housing firms, local
authorities, trade associations, heavy industry, green groups,
regional planning groups, consumer groups, environmental
researchers, charities, NGOs, government agencies and central
government
