Greenbuild Expo/Ignition11

29 June 2011 - 30 June 2011, Manchester Central Website: http://www.greenbuildexpo.co.uk/index.php/ignition_11/

Producing heat to warm homes, offices and factories uses about 40% of the energy we consume in the UK, yet to date, and unlike electricity production, there has been no sustained attempt to reduce this or shift to renewable sources. With the introduction of the Renewable Heat Incentive in June, and the rising cost of oil and concerns over supply this past winter, this is about to all change and Ignition11 will focus on a heat source that has great potential in the UK - woodfuel

Ignition 11 sees the woodfuel industry have its own space within a sustainable building and refurbishment event, Greenbuild Expo.  This will help promote the industry and raise awareness at a time when legislation changes and grants will support woodfuel technology better. For companies involved in the woodfuel industry it's an ideal opportunity to be viewed alongside the range of renewable energy solutions open to building owners. For visitors, it provides the chance to find out what grants may be available to you, to learn how the industry can help you achieve a more sustainable business and view the best technologies for your situation.
