    This event demonstrated how, through simple management, farms and estates could provide a sustainable source of fuel for their buildings from their woodlands whilst also producing high quality broadleaved timber.

    Co-operative Working in the Woodfuel Supply Chain

    This conference was aimed at businesses in the woodfuel and forestry sectors that are interested in finding out more about the advantages of cooperative working, what cooperative working actually means in practice, and most importantly, how to do it.

  • Forestry Commission Scotland, The Cairngorms National Park Authority and The Crown Estate held a one-day workshop to provide advice, discussion and practical demonstrations on managing small woodlands for timber and woodfuel production.
