The Ecobuild conference focuses on emerging issues, new
thinking, challenging ideas, and the new policy priorities of the
coalition government responding to the need for budget cuts.
Expanded to three streams for 2011, it examines the key issues
surrounding sustainability, construction and the built environment,
from big picture debates on international political co-operation,
global economic models, and the psychology of climate change,
through to more domestic challenges such as how the UK construction
sector needs to change, refurbishing the existing stock, and the
impact of localism and the big society on planning
