Glasgow & Clyde Valley Green Network Partnership

The Partnership brings together eight local authorities and five public agencies to help make the Glasgow metropolitan region one of Europe's most attractive places to live, work and play.

It's an ambitious 20 year programme to:

  • increase the attractiveness of the region as a location for business;
  • create opportunities for health improvement;
  • build stronger, better connected communities; and
  • protect and enhance wildlife and the environment, by providing accessible quality greenspace.

The Partnership co-ordinates action at a strategic level, ensuring local activity fits the big picture and all projects contribute to the GCV Green Network.

Many organisations will play their part in helping to create and manage the GCV Green Network. These will include members of the Partnership, local regeneration companies, housing associations, third sector organisations, developers, local greenspace teams and local volunteers.
