Who are Usewoodfuel Scotland?
Usewoodfuel Scotland is a partnership
between Forestry Commission
Scotland,Scottish Government, Glasgow Clyde Valley
Green Network Partnership, The Biomass Energy Centre,
Scottish Enterprise and Forest
Research. The role of Usewoodfuel Scotland is to increase
the awareness, understanding and the benefits of woodfuel
technology and to independently promote cost effective heat
generation in commercial and industrial applications such as
local authorities, tourism businesses, the food and drink industry
and the built environment. Usewoodfuel Scotland is part of
the Regional Biomass Advice Network.
This website is part of a range of support offered throughout
Scotland by the Regional Biomass Advice Network
(RBAN).The aim of network is to deliver a co-ordinated biomass
development programme across Lowlands & Upland Scotland.
