Ayrshire Woodfuel Forum

Introduction

Ayrshire Woodfuel Forum was established in 2007. It is facilitated by Rural Development Initiatives Ltd (RDI), under contract to Forestry Commission Scotland. RDI provide the Secretariat for the Forum, arranging meetings and providing information and advice where required.

Meetings

We meet twice a year. Wherever possible meetings include presentations and site visits to existing biomass projects.

12th February 2013, Dumfries House, Cumnock

This RHI Seminar was held by FCS, and the Energy Agency in association with the Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce and Ayrshire Eneterprise Partnership, to promote to businesses in Ayshire the potential opportunities in switching to renewable woodfuel heating.

Whether you're new to woodfuel or a veteran, you can share ideas and discuss issues. They also aim to develop a collective voice for the sector, and encourage members to work together to improve all stages of the wood fuel process, from supply to installation.
